Dinner on the Deck

After working very hard over the past few weeks - Adam was able to enjoy the deck last night. We had dinner on the deck.

Adam had a good laugh when he came home - the BBQ had been moved from the front porch to the deck. He looked at me and asked how I got it down and up the stairs - he thought the best way to move it would be around the yard??? I brought it through the house - to me it just made more sense.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner last night as we stat on our deck furniture in our fenced back yard on our big new deck - you can see at the top of the picture the rest of our neighbours have not yet finished their fences.

There will be more deck pictures to follow - Adam still has a few things to do - the last few deck boards right against the house still have to go in, we don't have a railing yet and the stairs we are using are temporary (the ones we pulled away from the house in order to build the deck).
