Baby Names

Well now that we have narrowed down the gender we need to start talking about baby names. As many of you know, if Jackie was a boy, we had planned on calling her 9I guess that would be him?) Zachary. Initially we had planned on keeping the name at Zachary, but now we are discussing other options. But I am looking for some help, we need some ideas.

Here is what we are looking for – a longer name – since the last name is Hill – we would love to give our child a name that is 2-3 syllables long. Also – if it can be shortened – the shortened version of the name can’t rhyme with Hill – i.e. – William – great name – however it becomes Bill Hill. Not going to do that to my child.

So if you have any name suggestions for us – please leave a comment. If you are not a blogger member just leave it as anonyms.

Hey Jenny,
Check out www.babynames.com you can create a babyname list (and email out or post on your blog) and have people vote on it or people can add to it. That's what we've done. Ours is at http://www.babynames.com/namelist/9627783

I always liked the names Erick, Diego, and Daniel.

I've always like Benjamin, I like it shortened to Benny when they're little and Ben a little older. I also like Rayden (Darren didn't), can be shortened to Ray.

Hey Jenny,

We would like to submit the following names:

1. Alistair (I don't think we need a reason here)
2. Cleitus - however, this may generate a bad nick name.
3. Jethro - that one is from AL.
4. Blueberry - weird name, but he'd have a song!
5. Spartacus - FUN!
6. Damian - Have you ever seen "The Omen"?
7. Chet - Crap, only one syllable - so close!
8. Broc Ole - my personal favorite!

I truly hope these names have inspirational and helpful in your decision making process. If you need any more assistance, we'd be more than happy to oblige.

Sebastian...love that for a boy (feel free to take it as it was on our list for Ace, we've got another boy name picked out if another Mercer boy makes it into our brute)
